In contact page for Bruce Powell, D Troop Gunship Platoon Leader - 1967/1968

Bruce was a Light Scout pilot, Heavy Scout (gunship) pilot and Gunship Platoon Leader during his time with D Troop - 1967/1968. Bruce also originated the sharks teeth nose art which soon identified all Centaurs Cobras and later became a common item of identifying and customizing Cobras in Vietnam.

Then and now photos. This merged photo (courtesy of Bruce Powell) shows 'Crazy Bruce' as a young Captain, and the first D Troop Cobra pilot, in 1968 - & while working on the Centaur Society project in 2011.
